1. De Jong Dakbedekkingen, trading as P. de Jong Dakbedekkingen, established at Frans Lebretstraat 1, 3343 DV Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, the Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of your details.

3. If you have a question about your details, you can come to us directly. No data protection officer has been appointed; that is not required for a business of this size.

1. If you fill in the quote form, we process your first and last name, telephone number, e-mail address and the address of the roof, together with whatever you write in the message yourself.

2. We also process the answers to the questions about the roof: what it concerns, how many roofs, the current roofing, the estimated number of square metres, whether there are solar panels, and whether you are a private or a business customer. Those fields are optional.

3. If you call or e-mail us, we process the details you provide yourself.

4. We do not ask for details that are not needed for this, and we process no special categories of personal data.

1. Solely to handle your request: to survey the roof, draw up a quotation and contact you about that request and any work that follows from it.

2. If an assignment follows, we use the same details to carry it out, for the invoice and for the guarantee.

3. We do not use your details for anything else. We send no newsletter, we do not profile, and no automated decision-making takes place.

4. We do not sell your details and we do not rent them out to third parties.

1. The processing is necessary in order to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and thereafter to perform that contract. That is the basis of article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

2. For keeping the administration after the work has finished we rely on the legal obligation of article 6(1)(c), read together with the Dutch fiscal retention obligation.

1. If your request does not lead to an assignment, we keep the request for two years and delete it thereafter. We apply that period because a roof is rarely replaced in a hurry and requests are regularly picked up again later.

2. If your request does lead to an assignment, we keep the administration for seven years after the end of the financial year. That is the period the Dutch tax authority prescribes.

3. Details covered by the ten-year guarantee on watertightness are kept for as long as that guarantee runs. Without them we cannot assess a claim under the guarantee.

4. If you would like to be deleted sooner, that is possible, except in so far as a statutory retention obligation stands in the way.

1. This website and the associated customer records run on the service of Wix.com Ltd. Wix processes your details on our behalf and solely on our instructions; a processing agreement is in place for this.

2. Wix may process details outside the European Economic Area. That transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, together with the safeguards Wix applies alongside them.

3. Beyond that we share your details only where this is necessary to carry out the work or where the law obliges us to. Think of our bookkeeper or of an authority empowered to require it.

4. We do not pass your details to advertisers, data brokers or comparison sites.

1. This website places no advertising cookies and uses no visitor statistics. Nothing about you is recorded and nothing is shared with third parties.

2. What we do keep is your choice of the light or dark appearance. It stays on your own device and never reaches us. Without it the site would fall back to the light appearance on every page you open.

3. In addition, the Wix server places a technical cookie that is needed to deliver the site securely. It does not follow you and cannot be switched off without making the site unusable.

4. If you want to remove what is kept, you can clear this site's data in your browser.

1. The site is reachable only over a secure connection and sends security instructions that prevent the pages from being loaded or altered from outside.

2. Your request goes straight from your browser to our server and from there to the customer records. The keys needed for this are held on the server only and never in the page.

3. Access to the requests is limited to whoever needs it in order to handle your request.

1. You have the right to know which details we process about you and to receive a copy of them.

2. You have the right to have incorrect details corrected or completed, to have your details erased, to have the processing restricted, and to object to the processing.

3. You have the right to receive the details you provided yourself in a common file format, or to have them transferred.

4. You can submit a request at info@dejongdak.nl or by telephone. We respond within one month. To prevent us handing details to the wrong person, we may ask you to identify yourself.

5. If you disagree with how we handle your details, we would rather hear it from you first. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

1. We may amend this statement, for instance if we change something about the website. The date below indicates when that last happened.

2. In the event of a substantial change we will say so on the website.
