I am Peter de Jong, born and raised in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. At sixteen I started, full of drive, at a large roofing firm in Zwijndrecht. As an apprentice I had very good teachers there who taught me the roofer's trade. Many years on, I am still just as keen to hand over a roof as neatly and skilfully as I can.

In 1997 I took the step of setting up my own business. That only deepened my passion for roofing. All year round, in all weathers, on the roofs of buildings, garages and even boats.

The work varies. Alongside private roofs I work for main contractors on new build and renovation: from entire housing estates and blocks of flats to shopping centres, sports centres and portacabins, and sometimes at considerable height in Rotterdam.

Business and private customers can reach me by phone for inspection, renovation and new build. If there is a leak, I try to schedule the work as soon as possible. Once I have looked at the roof I draw up a quote with no obligation, and once you agree I am at your service as quickly as I can be.
